@I found a tree ful of ramphal (overloaded) in a houre near my locality. Then i came to the house was left somedays ago, nobody was living there.

i thought one day i would enter the house and have them. BUT ME SHY GUY couldnt dare to go in. Other boys cleaned them witin few days.

Dude send some of the fruits to my postal address(I will mail it to you).Iam sure i will switch my loyalties from mango to seetaphal once you do that:).My grandma's favourite fruit was seethaphal.Ramphal is quite rare to find thesedays.

yes, it gets messy and so boring to remove the seeds, thats why i have planted 2 ramphal (ram's fruit) which has a very few seeds at the centre and tastes same as seeta's fruit (wait for another blog for 5 years :-)^

THX Shekhar for bringing some thing innovative to the blogs section - be it a website/software or a fruit mostly forgotten by the city folks.
I have some tress at the farm too. But sumhow I never got to like it and eating it is tad messy....though for CUSTARD APPLE lovers that never poses a prob:)
custrad apple is also known as SHAREEFA... shareef phal maloom hota hai :)

sssuperb!its the favourite fruit of my daughter. its full of glucose and carbohydrates. not advisable for diabetic patients. its so tasty and really mouth watering!(i m also rushing to my garden to pick up one!)
